1959 Mercury Colony Park

Ever since we saw this original advert on the internet, we have wanted one of these.

We had been searching on the internet for a year or so and finally saw one! It took a few phone calls and a deposit before the owner took a buyer from way down in New Zealand seriously.

We had someone in the States take a look at it for us and email photographs, and it was soon on it's way to lil old New Zealand... and what an impressive sight it was on the back of the tow truck at Owens transport!

Interior pics

Definately shows the space-aged design of those times. Front bench seat, middle bench seat and an extra 2 seater bench seat in the back.

The middle bench seat folds forwards and the extra bench seat folds completely away - we have already used it to cart home a couple of sheets of custom wood! (2.4m long)

New Interior

Thanks to Brent Wells at Auto & Marine Upholstery Ltd the ripped, uncomfortable interior has now been restored to it's former glory!
